The Teaching Council's research webinars follow a variety of formats from panel discussions to presentations by guest lecturers. They usually take place on Wednesday evenings at 8 p.m., and a complete schedule is available below. All webinars are also recorded and all previous webinars can be viewed on this website here.

  • 9 May, 8.00-9.00 p.m. - What next? Possibilities for completed research projects. The Centre for Effective Services (CES) is hosting this webinar for the Teaching Council.   • 16 May, 8.00-9.00 p.m. - ITE Research in Initial Teacher Education - A panel of student teachers and newly qualified teachers present the research projects they completed as part of their programmes for initial teacher education.

November 2018

  • 7 November, 8.00-9.00 p.m. - Inclusion-for-all - A panel discussion regarding research and practice with a focus on inclusion for all learners.

December 2018

  • 5 December, 8.00-9.00 p.m. - "Student Engagement" presented by a panel representing primary, post-primary, and further education sectors.

  • 6 February, 8.00-9.00 p.m. - "Childhood bilingualism".
