Droichead: The Integrated Professional Induction Framework                     

The Droichead framework has been developed through extensive consultation with the profession. Since the inception of Droichead, the Teaching Council has listened carefully to the voices of the individual teachers and schools involved. These professional conversations have helped to shape Droichead into the professional induction framework that it is today. 

The Teaching Council has made a number of significant changes to Droichead. The changes have been made following the Council’s review of Droichead and associated documents, in response to feedback from stakeholders and in line with Council's ongoing commitment to periodic policy review.
