Applications have now closed to participate at FÉILTE 2023. Thank you to all who applied, we will be in touch soon.

FÉILTE is the teaching profession's annual teacher-led celebration which acknowledges the work that you do every day in your classroom. At FÉILTE, teachers gather with other teachers from primary, post-primary, and further education to share their passion for teaching, to engage in mutual learning, and to be inspired by colleagues and guest speakers alike.

This year we are excited to announce a new direction for FÉILTE: We are taking our event to school! FÉILTE will take place in Holy Family Junior and Senior School, Portlaoise. The theme for this year's FÉILTE is Creativity in Action, and we hope that you will join us in celebrating the innovative and creative work of teachers and school leaders, in the familiar surrounds of a school setting.

Why come to FÉILTE 2023?

"There is something magical about FÉILTE... Participants come because they know that there is something for them, a space to share and to learn" - Phil Fox, Deputy Director.

FÉILTE 2023 will see more workshops than ever, coupled with showcases, Gasta and a lively panel discussion on the theme of Creativity in Action. FÉILTE provides a unique opportunity for teachers from Primary, Post-primary and Further Education to network, exchange ideas and celebrate the excellent work that is taking place in Irish schools.

Did you know that FÉILTE can count towards Croke Park hours, at your principal's discretion?

NQTs who attend FÉILTE fulfill one of their Droichead criteria as FÉILTE is a professional learning activity.

We will shortly be announcing our programme and ticket information. Watch this space, as well as our social media pages, for more information.
