On 11 March 2017 the Council announced the first round of the Research Support Framework making €100,000 available for teachers and others engaging in and with educational research.
Applications were accepted under round one of the framework from 23 June 2017 to 22 September 2017 and 100 applications were received by this date. 33 projects were selected and awarded a total of €100,000.
