How to access your vetting disclosure returned from the National Vetting Bureau
To access your vetting disclosure (result), you need to log in or create an account with Digitary to view your disclosure.
Please use the link in the email from the Teaching Council about your vetting disclosure being available. If it’s not in your inbox, please check your spam or junk folder.

If you do not have the original email, please contact the Teaching Council on vetting@teachingcouncil.ie and request the email to be re-issued.
How do I view my document?
Log in to Digitary and on the “Documents” page, click on the disclosure to view your document.
I have logged in to Digitary but my documents aren't visible, what should I do?
Please ensure you have registered your account using the same email address we sent the notification to, i.e. the email from the Teaching Council about your vetting disclosure being available. To check your email address:
- Log in with the provider from the dropdown menu next to your name.
- Go to your profile settings.
- Under email address, click Verify.
- You will receive an email. Follow the instructions to verify.
How to share your vetting disclosure with an employer
You can share your disclosure with employers or potential employers online using Digitary. Just log in to your Digitary account and follow the instructions. The Teaching Council can’t email disclosures to a teacher.
