Why do I only see one vetting disclosure?

We only retain one disclosure for you at any time.

If you have been re-vetted, the new disclosure is the only vetting disclosure displayed on your My Registration account.

There is no disclosure when I logged in to My Registration account

How long is my vetting valid for?

The Teaching Council has a re-vetting policy in place which requires registered teachers to undergo the vetting process on a three-year cycle based on their date of registration. So, every three years you will receive a notification from the Council, approximately six months in advance of your renewal date of registration, to advise that you are required to undergo re-vetting to be eligible to renew your registration.

Your vetting disclosure will remain valid for registration purposes until you have completed the re-vetting process. To be able to renew your registration you must complete re-vetting.
